Sightly Platform Successes:

We have been fortunate to work with some great practices, doctors, and staff to help make Sightly the best e-commerce platform for optometry. The feedback that we get from our community and the patients that use the platform, have been tremendous – really helping us shape the updates outlined in Sightly Update 1.8.0.

Some Quick stats from the 7 Sightly storefronts that have been running the longest:

  • 19.2% of onboard accounts are creating a userid & password for their respective Sightly storefront
  • 11% of patients accounts have downloaded the Sightly iOS app
  • Saving 7-10 mins in staff time to process an order via Sightly storefront 
  • 151 Reminder notifications set
  • 624 Historical Reminder notifications set
  • 572 Appointment Requests captured
  • 86 Trial tracking notifications setup
  • 1538 SMS (text) messages sent

Here are some successes that we would like to mention...

We would like to congratulate Milton Optometry for capturing their first contact lens order. They have been involved with Sightly from the beginning, and it is nice to see their patients starting to look at their storefront as a reordering option. Milton Optometry is also our first practice to go with our Sightly Premium platform offering. This offering is where we work with you to (re)develop your practice web site, and embed your Sightly storefront into it. The full shopping experience will be contained within one web site.

We would also like to congratulate Abbey Eye Care for capturing 5 orders in the first 48 hours after they launched their storefront – amazing! It was also cool to see that Abbey Eye Care’s storefront has ended up on the first page of Google search results (organically) for certain eye health care products. #SpeedToConvenienceWins 

Lastly, we would also like to congratulate Downtown Vision Care for closing in on $10K in orders with their Sightly storefront. They have figured out their segment of patients that prefer to order digitally as opposed to calling in their order (never missing a re-order reminder again). Well done Dr. Crowe, Allison, Nicole, and the rest of the DVC team!
